Kalin and Sharon Tchonev, organizers:
Kalin, a native of Bulgaria, and Sharon, a native of Israel, enjoy working together and introducing people to Europe and Israel. Kalin was appointed International Director of the company in 2002. He holds two Master of Music degrees in Choral Conducting from The National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria and from The University of South Carolina. He also has a Masters degree in Piano Performance from The University of South Carolina. Kalin has inherited the passion and love of music and people. He has continued the tradition passed on by his father of training and uniting people from different nations in music and song through festivals, workshops and international travel. Sharon graduated from The University of South Africa, majoring in law. She is the Communications Director and Administrative Manager of Varna International Tours and, in her spare time, teaches Israeli Folk Dance and Culture Classes. Sharon and Kalin reside in Columbia, SC with their son, Eliav.
